Brenda Boyd is a Certified Public Accountant and sole proprietor of Brenda Boyd, CPA a full service accounting and business consulting firm in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Brenda earned her degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and Business Law from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee. She is a member of the TSCPA and AICPA. She is a Quickbooks Pro Advisor. In addition, she is also a Tennessee Licensed Realtor specializing in commercial and industrial property searches, acquisitions, and due diligence.

Brenda can help companies and individuals in the areas of tax accounting and business consulting including: tax planning, tax preparation, commercial and Industrial Real Estate tax and acquisitions, tax controversy cases, forensic accounting, outsourced CFO duties, and bookkeeping system design and re-design.

Brenda is very committed to contributing her time to students of the University of Tennessee Entrepreneurial Program. She has guest lectured junior and senior students since 2009 guiding them through the proforma financial statement aspect of their business plans. She has also donated services to the business plan winners at the University of Tennessee to provide them with an opportunity to put their business plan in action with the guidance of an experienced professional.

Brenda is also very committed to the Junior Achievement of East Tennessee programs that focus on financial literacy for children beginning in the 5^th grade with Junior Achievement Biz Town. The students study a financial curriculum in their classroom and are rewarded with a trip to the Biz Town facility in Clinton, TN to test their skills by running a “Town” for a day. We are also working on bringing a program to East Tennessee called JA Finance Park which takes the financial literacy another step – how to manage a budget in today’s world.

Brenda enjoys sailing the British and French Virgin Islands via monohull with her life partner, Joe Hollingsworth. They also enjoy traveling and experiencing new adventures in the United States and abroad.

They also enjoy spending time at their home with friends and family in East Tennessee with spectacular mountain views at every turn.  They love their University of Tennessee Football team and boating in the Vol Navy. Go Vols!
